Every time I am shooting someone I try to shape light in such a fascinating way that it can tell a story that may or may not even be true. Create something that can capture your attention for a split second and keep ya around a lot longer than that. I tell each client how I'm shaping it on them, why the inverse square law hates me, and how each of my modifiers are suppose to help me. The drama in images makes me happy!
I'm a photographer, creative director, but it still boils down to being a Image Brander. Your images sells you, and my job is to make sure you have images that do that.
I know there are so many other artists out there, that offer headshots, but we all bring something different to the table. I bring a decade of perspective. I have seen the good, the bad, and the ugly when it comes to photographers treating real estate headshots. They shoot recklessly, don't understand the shape of the subjects face, and carelessly not understand the clients insecurities.
I have studied psychology and principle socialology since I was 13, throughout high school, and in college. Whether Men, women or children this world shapes us. Shaping our securities and insecurities alike, my job as a photographer is to reverse that and quickly create a trust, and fast revelation of personality in your images in the fraction of a second, usually at 1/250th of a second. Sorry that's a little photographer humor that I'm probably am the only one to use.
