An image that will tell a story for anyone who reads it

Took me a while to create that title since  it's sometimes hard to explain my brain! I think the image I crafted with with the Hasselblad H5D 50C is something I think people can look at and see the story the images tells.

So not back to the story. I did a u-turn, and I pulled around the side of the building where they wouldn't see me. In order for the image to be authentic and real, I needed to shoot this as if I were shooting some street photography. The thing about Hasselblad is that you really getting Medium Format amazingly technology, but I personally believe it's for people who value the art and craft of photography. It makes you slow down, it makes you think. You have to see focal distance and light before you put the Hasselblad to your eye. With this I only knew I had one opportunity to capture the image. I took a shot around the corner to see if my eye was correct. It wasn't and I was off by a near margin, and there was no guarantee the light would be identical on the other side. where the sun was flashing the building. I decided to go with my initial instinct and go back to where I was and I started walking. I was hoping I didn't miss the moment.

It was time. I started to walk around the sidewalk. I kept the camera in my focusing hand, and Im sure it brought a tad of attention to the big bulky guy with the bulky something in his hand. I turned fired and captured this amazing crew from the South Portland Fire Department. An almost  pause in their day of intensity.
