Short Film | Hitcher

Hitcher is a short film that was designed around a poem that was written by actor and hollywood stuntman Ed Portoghese. We were hired to write a script around the poem, giving it a story line. It was a challenge to match the emotion of the poem to the character development. After pre-production we were able to get a production shot list so tight that we shot everything in under 4 hours of time. Post Production here in our studio was an amazing process. We were able to do the Audio Mixing, Voice Overs, Foley ADR and working with the composer to create a score that would draw the watcher into the life of this Hitcher.

I loved working with Ed Portoghese on this film. It took one day and we traveled around the state of CO finding great locations and the right people for the parts. Ed is not only an actor, but a stuntman as well. I was lucky enough to have an actor who was able to do his own stunts.
